Getting in the spirit is a tad hard in China. There's not a whole lot of Christmas being celebrated here, but I'm listening to Christmas music while I wrap presents.

What are your favourites?

I remember hearing this on Triple J back in 1997 leading up to Christmas and it's become inseparably linked to those memories of our first Christmases at home. We'd previously spent Christmas in Newie with our extended family every year.

I thought that Green Day's trio of albums they released last year was pretty disappointing but Dirty Rotten Bastards was a decent enough song and for some reason I think it has a Christmassy vibe. I don't know why I think that, maybe because it was released just before Christmas.
