the Wall

I'd have to vote for the White Album, Being There or Sloan - Four Nights At The Palais Royale.

I said "favourite" not "opinions of"
self indulgent?????
anyone who releases a double album is being pretty self indulgent I'd say.
anyways didn't the Beatles do a song about a Racoon who'd walked into a bar?

I used to love The Wall and I listened to it a lot when I was younger. Maybe it's burnout but I just really don't like it anymore.
Roger Waters let his ego take over. It doesn't hold up as a "rock opera" and the film reflects the weakness of the "story". It takes itself waaaay too seriously.
I prefer The Final Cut now.
carcharias said:Hmm I know someone taking themselves too seriously.
hrundi99 said:Huh? I'm voicing an opinion. Do I have to be joking?

hrundi99 said:Ok...well that was an attempt at humour.
ie web forums are full of judgement. That's kind of the whole point of them, isn't it?

Balmain_Boy said:Yeah, but that's taking the piss out of Dylan. Rocky racoon is gold imo.
carcharias said:I love the song and I rate them as the greatest ever.
I was just making an ironic comparison.
