The pilot episode of Hotel, Bette Davis starred in the first episode and was suppose to have a recurring role but she was diagnosed with cancer. Arron Spelling kept on sending Bette new scripts while she was convalescing and kept the spot open her but she kept on rejecting the scripts and saying the show be renamed Brothel. Ironically her part ended up going to All About Eve co star Anne Baxter.
