I tried to get a hold of maybe a box set or episodes of this show along with Hawaiian Eye (a similar show) and they cost heaps. I'm hoping someone will throw some up onto Youtube. I remember watching these two shows and really liking them whenever I had a sickie from school because they were daytime shows. Loved Hawaii 5 0 as well, also a great opening and closing theme.
I just checked. This is up on TPB with plenty of seeders. Hawaiian Eye is there too.

Its funny the themes and shows that stick in your head from when you were young. Remember the 77 Sunset Strip opening clearly, Hawaiian Eye not so much although i do remember it, who could forget Robert Conrad and Connie Stevens :)

Hawaii 5 O has one of the most memorable themes, i have it on high repeat at home when it plays on my (ancient ) IPOD.

A while back I watched about 50 episodes of 5'0 on a now banned streaming site, it was a really well made and well written show with heaps of great characters. Shame it's no longer available, they spoil all our fun.
Yeah, Connie was a sweetie.

Couldn't find an isolated opening credits for Adventure Island so posted a whole episode.
I remember going to an ABC retrospective many years ago and when they played the opening theme to Adventure Island everyone started cheering and singing.

In the late 70's, early 80's I lived in a share house and on Thursday nights (?) we'd gather around with a few strays dropping in as well, to mull away and watch this and laugh ourselves stupid. Thanks to some ABC programming genius the next show after this was Jack High, a lawn bowls round up of the weeks games, it was almost as hilarious as Python. Unfortunately I couldn't find the opening credits for Jack High.

There are a few whole episodes of Jack High on you tube.
I remember one of my uncles appearing on an episode of Jack High once when it was filmed at the bowling club that was right near St Marys Cathedral, that bowling club is long gone now.
