The season builds up quite well imo. Give it time. Its not like the walking dead where they kill hundreds of walkers every episode.

pile of shit this tv show is. sadly both TWD and FTWD have been bad this year/season.

I thought FTWD had a great first season but this season so far has been balls.

Its been pretty good IMO.

The main gripe i have with this season is the the 'kids'. Pretty much when they are told not to do something, you know they are going to do it. Every episode they seem to do something stupid.

Another thing that annoyed me in this episode was after they escaped the walkers and were about to get back onto the dingy, the brother and sister hugged eachother for ages. Sorry, but if hundreds of walkers are about to eat you, the last thing anyone is going to do is hug it out.

yeah the brother/sister scene was very cringey. i am just not sure about this spin off show yet. feel like having a boat is cheating haha. would love for them to start going inland.

I think I heard that after 3 or 4 seasons they will join the main tv show. not sure if it was officially announced though.

Does FTWD have its own comic book series or is it an entirely new concept?

I have always thought it would join up with the current series but not sure where. One theory I had that the current FTWD group will eventually end up with an enemy group that we have seen in the original Walking Dead (saviours, the govenor etc)

Nah, it's completely original aside from the fact it exists in the same universe. It's made it a bit more enjoyable for me to watch in some ways, as it's all new and I don't have to worry about potentially inevitable character deaths occurring.

After a slow start to this season, the third and fourth episodes have both been really enjoyable. There's still the same occassional bouts of inexplicable stupidity that seem to be part and parcel of TWD, but I'm really enjoying some of the dynamics. Strand, Nick, and Salazar are all interesting characters (although Salazar needs more to do), the surprise cameo in episode three will hopefully bring a popular character from the web series into the fold, and Alicia is fine as f**k.

Good episode today, not great. Kind of finished up last weeks story line. Next week looks better.
