No there is no salary cap or player trading, but you can move the players around for free as much as you want.

Actually, I think franchise mode is sorta meaning that sort of thing, where you actually manage a team and make trades and stuff. But anyway..

"wat u think" a franchise mode is mr vodka circle whos head is in the wrong place isnt nessasarily the right thing, although u probly cant read from where your head is, Franchise mode is all the things that a real comp has eg trades salary cap and so on which clearly states in the faq that arnt in the game if that manly dude read the faq he would have read that and restrained himself from posting a stupid topic. think before u post mr 200 and something post vodkacircle

Because having left footed kickers is a purely cosmetic touch really.

Not necessarily. It depends on what is added to the game.

Tweaking gameplay will be easier as will improving graphics. But adding things like a franchise mode and internet multiplayer will be significant undertakings.
