Good to hear Sloan is putting in, we're going to need him, he's our only real speedster and finisher.
Also interesting his mention of our 8 debutants last year where he says they concentrated on teaching them how to play first grade but this year they're teaching them how to win. The excitement's building boys and girls.

Yeah Kit it sure is whilst most of us recognise 2027 will be our best chance of finals for a while with an elite forward coming to the club, I can't help but look at the improvements to our squad depth and think we are a chance of proving some people wrong and cracking the 8 this year. How good would it be to make all those pundits who have us finishing 13th or 14th eat their words.

Am I the only one who is a bit disappointed with this interview? Not with Flanno but the questions asked.

It was supposed to be "Final word, pre-season challenge v Knights". This video went for 10+ minutes and probably spent just on 1 min talking about the topic and even them it was centered around LKT and Reed. The rest of the 9 mins we tangent off into Vegas and players not even in this game.

How about "what are you looking for from these boys playing tomorrow?" Or even "we have a few spots in the top 30 would you be looking closely how they perform against a pretty full strength Knights?"

Surly some more pertinent questions could and should have been asked imo.

the big plus for me this year is flanno, he has had so much responsibility lifted from his shoulders with the broom going through the front office this off season it will give him so much more time to just coach.

A few of the boys and I are going. Splurged a bit and bought upper grandstand seats @ $45 for both games. Recording the game to watch when I get home. Hopefully I'll have something enjoyable to watch!

100 Percent . I'm surprised there has not been more hype about him . Can cover any back line position . I'm not sure about his kicking game but he is extremely handy with the ball and a good gutsy defender . Could cover as a 9 as well .
