Well next weekend is Easter. A time where chocolate, hot cross buns and Fish is the order of the day. Also Coles have the footy team eggs and chocolate bunnies, but once again do you think I can find a Knights one? I got lucky last year though.
Though a couple of relies have asked for an alternative to chocolate so I'll just get them a gift card.
Also have I only just noticed Easter Greeting cards in the last 10 years or so?
IanG's Easter to do list.
- See the rellies
- Eat chocolate
- Go to a footy game
- Have a screening of Life Of Brian
Also for something different
My easy curried tuna recipe
1 400g Can of Tuna Chunks in Brine
2 Tablespoons of plain flour
Curry Powder to taste and colour (I put more than some people would because I like it with a bit of extra kick to it)
1/2 Cup Milk
1 teaspoon of butter or margarine
- Place flour, curry powder and butter in saucespan starting on High and stir so it start to bind then add the brine from the tin of tuna chunks
- Stir that until it all mixed together with no lumps.
- Once it starts to thicken turn the heat down to simmer and add the milk (Whatever you do, don't let it boil)
- Once the sauce has again started to thicken then stir in the tuna chunks.
- Allow to simmer for a few minutes until it has mixed nicely together.
Best served with some rice but I have also just had this on toast as well. Plus I also like to sprinkle a little bit of lemon juice on it as well.
Easy as meal. I surprised myself just how quickly I knocked this up.
