How will these lists work? Do we send a list of 100 players in order, and whoever lists a player highest preference gets the player, with ties decided by a coin toss?

How are player's stats determined again? By their current form? Or their form at their peak?

Current form, mostly. Obviously Thurston isn't going to be a 3, despite playing like one the last few monts.

I reckon the draft order will still be important.

Here's an example of what I mean.

DragonPunk - 1. Adam Reynolds - Reynolds drafted.
JasonMaher - 1. Adam Reynolds, 2. Jamie Soward - Soward drafted.
Misanthrope - 1. Jamie Soward, 2. Cameron Smith - Smith drafted.

Would it be better to send a list of 22? Then it just goes in order 1-22 with each person getting the highest available on their list.

Then Mis can post the results per round and we can all adjust our lists accordingly and then submit them again but this time it goes from 22-1 instead.

We'll be waiting yonks for people to send in their lists again. Maybe send in two lists at first, so we always have two lists in, and a window where you can 'update' your next list once Mis reveals whose gone, so we aren't hanging out waiting for everybody to get their next list in.

You confused me for a sec

The amount of players we send in per round doesn't change.

The whole idea of sending 22 players is that there's 22 teams. So even by some freak of nature NT who is last has his first 21 picks taken by other players, he still gets pick 22.

By sending in 22 each we can do a full round without Mis having to halt proceedings by getting someone to redo it.

Then at the end of the round everyone goes through their list, replacing players who are now unavailable and then rinse and repeat.

The second one round has gone up people should be able to update their lists and send them in. If they don't send in a new list then they get the highest available from list 1.

People better not take my halfback choice because there isn't much depth ffs, I'm making a halfback list atm and it's pretty sad.

This is the other reason why adjusting on the fly or position preference needs to be an option.

If I want a halfback then I need to list 4-5 to ensure I get at least one of them, but if I don't have the opportunity to adjust between rounds then I might end up with more than one which I don't want.

:lol: I can imagine. It's why I picked a hooker very early. Fullback has the most depth and as long as one of your 6/7 is half decent you should be able to get by with an average other half, but hooker was slim pickings from the start.

I am tossing up getting a 2nd halfback next pick. Could be a valuable trade later on. Also I can play one & employ the other at the Shenzen playmakers academy.

Yeah I think I'm going to go with the pick my top 6 in each position and then my preferred position. Will adjust as positions get picked off.

That way Mis might be able to get through 2-4 rounds before a lot of list adjustments need to be made.
