FFBRL - Draft Thread

My team looks all good as far as positions go. The only ones I'd argue with is Jack Reed as a second rower (WTF?) and Wade Graham is more of a lock these days rather than five eight.

Aside from Reed the rest are potato potato (that doesn't work well in typing) as they can play the positions I chose them for anyway.

Not sure what Mis was thinking of there.

I thought that players might get a little reduction for playing out of position, even in a position they could play in.

This is what I thought.

What would be the effect of me, say, playing Glen Fisiahii at 5/8 and Gal at hooker?

Just looked at the stats on wiki, our packs are pretty much the same average size.

I included both the starting pack - hooker + bench - bench hooker.

Yeah, McCollough drags the average down (a puny 92kg, 186cm hooker :sarcasm.

McCullough is an 80 minute player, which is one of the reasons I picked him.

As is Roby, I had no idea how realistic the simulator would be.

The funny/sad thing is that by the end of the draft I'll have three guys who I would prefer at hooker over Matt Keating at Parra: Roby, Rein and mystery hooker number 3.

No reduction in positions listed on the front page. Only if they're out of position.

The opposite often happens. Best example I've had was losing my starting halfback (a huge blow when he is 9/7/10/10/8...I thought I was f**ked). Had to put Kevin Kingston there. Result was a huge win and Kinga going from about 120 form to about 160...

As far as I can see, but I skimmed it quickly so will take another look when I get home.

I've seen some strange ones. When my Dad played back in the day, he named Paul Stringer (a prop) on the wing. The big guy got a hattrick.

Its frustrating when your fantasy team is better than the one your NRL fields each week
