Ok, forget 2012 - who would you have replaced Best and Pommeroy with in 2011, Supercoach? If I can recall, the few times that they didnt play, the replacements fared worse!
In 2012, if Carney plays to his potential, I'll be surprised if there are still those calling our centres "shithouse"!

Douglas and Snowden took up a lot of cap space also so I think the best part of the deal is we no longer have such a huge drop off when the starters go off.

Gibbs, Ross, Fifita, Green > Snowden, Douglas, Cordoba and Tautai. Plus with Taga playing up front with Gallen in spells like last year I think the greater depth will help us in all those games we just lost in. Cordoba alone has gone from our 3rd best prop to our 5th or 6th(if you included Taufua) best who will probably spend a lot of time in NSW cup compared to starting for us like last year.

Me too, I don't mind him on the bench but he will have to perform to get a run with increase depth. He was twice as good as Tautai last year.

We probably will due to injuries but the fact he has gone down the food chain shows we've added depth. Especially since we tend to use 3 props in our rotation with Taga or Gall pushing up.

He is a handy depth player who has value but we struggled when we had to depend on him to start or keep a roll on after Snowden would go off.
