Jesus that’s f**king scary. Anyone with any medical knowledge know what this means? In terms of its severity and what it means for his career? Would hate to see him go out like that.

Induced coma will relax Fifita he won't be stressing about the upcoming surgery, the more relaxed you are easier for surgery and recovery

Rory Kostjasyn from Knights suffered a throat injury that forced him into retirement.
Not sure of the similarities. But either way does not sound good.

Very scary stuff. Jack A. Williams had a similar injury in the trial against the Dragons and had a panic attack when he was getting treated with oxygen. The level of physical risk anyone who plays at this level faces is no joke.

will have to check the replay on Kayo, and hope the Club is looking into this as well. I remember play being stopped early in the 2nd half but no other reaction from any match officials.
