Why is this game being played the same day as USA v Canada?

My guess is that USARL players didn't think they'd be considered for selection for the Tomahawks, so they scheduled a game anyway. Though, since Odain Brown played on the 'Hawks squad in Canada, it looks like USARL players are allowed again.
