Schneider's defense is a bit overrated too. Hes physical, willing and has good technique but he's only ok at reading the defensive game and gets run through more regularly than you want from a so called defensive half. Hes above average but hardly some savant like Luai or Cleary a couple of years ago.

Schneider's outside men trust him to make the tackle if he makes contact.

In Toelau's one game at halfback the surrounding players didn't seem to think he'd be able to complete the tackle, especially on the line.

Fittler has put what he thinks will be the finals path
He has us playing the sharks wiiner then possibly raiders winner the storm boy that’s a tough path.Remember there has be be the other games go the way he has predicted for that to happen

He must think the Broncos will beat the Raiders in Canberra in a final. I'm not so sure about that.

Getting a little clearer now. Its the Broncos, Sharks or Warriors that we will face.

Ciraldo has signaled that he won't rest players. That makes Sharks v Bulldogs next week a 50/50 game IMO.

Melbourne I imagine will copy their strat from previous seasons and rest another 5-6 players. So that tilts the game to the Broncos who would come 4th.

Warriors v Manly similar to the Sharks v Bulldogs match. Up against Manly who are virtually toast. Could really go either way but I'll lean with the home side Manly.

So I'd say we are going to Shark Park week one.

The game of the round could well be roosters v bunnies roosters lose and dolphins win by 19 roosters out .Would be a great end to the bunnies season to knock the roosters out

Another reason to come 8th: We would hypothetically play the Storm in a prelim.

From a neutral perspective its great. Guarantees we won't see a grand final rematch. I'd much prefer Penrith v Brisbane/Canberra/Canterbury.

Some fresh meat for a GF would be fun but I'd rather beat the purple scum again.

Nah I want fresh meat.

Even the Broncos are lower on my list. Its too soon we already broke them. Sharks would be hilarious but if we play week one its out of the question.

Reasonably confident going to Shark Park.

I'd like to see them go deeper into the finals so hopefully they don't run into us.

Yeah i feel for nicho and the heat he's copped but don't think they can compete vs us in finals mode.

Yeah I don't think so.

But Broncos/Sharks/Dogs/Warriors/Roosters. I feel its a pretty similar bunch tbh. Warriors maybe just outside that group without Metcalf/Barnett but they get the home ground advantage at some point in the finals.

I was thinking that too. It's also well known local derby and, though Souths have injuries and bad form, it could be a surprise...

Along with an Alex Johnston hattrick to take the top spot on the all-time try scorers list.

Fans storm the field. Tedesco pulls out his mouth guard to lambast the referee and some fan pulls down his shorts from behind. What a weekend.

I'd go so far to say without those two warriors are cooked. Roosters have a high ceiling and low floor and broncos walsh can win or lose a game. Weird comp this year.

Our spot out of the top 4 is making it kind of weird. I don't care what the TAB says we are still the favourites and we are 7th (Potentially 8th).

Warriors have lost pretty much their most important 2 players. A lot needs to go right for them to win.
