1 thru 17 will have to play consistent, level headed football, yet take the chances when good defence causes the opposition to make a mistake. Can we do it? Of course. Finals football will test us but if we are on the ball and up to it WT can go all the way to the GF. It will also test and expose Sheens selections and use of the interchange bench- I hope he reads it right because his selections and use of the bench in the premiership rounds have not filled me with confidence but I'll give him credit where its due- he and the players have got us to number 4 spot at the close of the premiership rounds. Well done boys.
I expect that the now old hands of Ayshford, Ryan, Lui, Fafita & Moltzen will have to step up to the level of Marshall, Lawrence, Ellis, Fulton, Heighington, Galloway & Gibbs.
As a horrible afterthought- what will making the finals do to our salary cap? We were close this year and had to shed players- hope the same does not have to occur in 2012.
