30k capacity, You'd lose upto 10k for Corporates/Players etc.

Allianz or Accor it will be
I do agree however is it's Melbourne and remembering there is a Collingwood home prelim down there no one is flying up here so Commbank would make some sense. Time will tell.

I reckon we get atleast our years average.

There will be an NRLW game on, So you have 2 extra sets of players, sponsors and Officals who need seats.

No game in Sydney this week, So likely have extra demand from Corporates.

So likely leaves 20k seats for the public, So not sure it is big enough.

Which is why it isn't listed as an approved Stadium for week 3.

Canberra and Newcastle have their Prelims here too

Friday game - Allianz will get a worse crowd than Accor just on Traffic alone

make it Accor and make it as cheap as possible - you might get decent Neutral numbers if the tickets are cheap enough

Friday night game is the better game IMO. Extra day off for grand final and it gives us the chance to be the first confirmed team.

Though after week 1 of finals the next 2 weeks feel like a formality. Panthers vs Broncos feels like $1.01 odds at the moment. Just don't see the other 4 teams having anything to throw at either team. Especially after a week off.

Just spoke with a mate who works in marketing at NRL - Club has requested Accor for either team, NRL has left Commbank option open for Penrith v Melb. If club gets it way it will be Accor.

We played Souths at their home ground
Because we like Accor. That isn't a surprise CommBank is better than Allianz given it is Friday
