We need tough as nails, no nonsense props who can DOMINATE. Getting so tired of the types we eventually end up with. None of the young ones coming through meets my criteria. Yes, they will play as hard as they can but still not tough, mobile and no nonsense types who can get over the opposition and not be rag dolled and stopped in his tracks. Need guys who can palm off opposition and offload. Offloads are so important and if we can have a few guys to do this we can get the halves and centres to run off them. Back rowers in my opinion are not speedy enough. I like Briton Nikora from Cronulla as an example of a good back rower - sleek, fast and scores tries.

Need a flashy, safe fullback, we really do and at least one speedy, rangy winger. The halves positions are so important for managing between the forwards and backs - need decisive, quick decision ones with speed and acceleration and tough defence and a very good passing and kicking game.

Maybe can do with a couple of more players that can change the course of the game when needed.

Main thing is to defend like hell any points lead we have. Great defence wins nearly all games.

Speed is essential. Speed, speed, speed.

I've said enough.
Let’s look overseas for some forwards. They’re not coming to us from Australia; forget it . Who couldn’t sell the Gong with its beaches and lifestyle to a tough young pommy forward from the middle of England. Surely there’s someone worth a crack.

Fully agree Inisai. Ricky Stuart has been doing this and most have been great. Looking at some of the games being played in Super league, there are many that would be far better than say Lawrie, Guler and RFM for instance and moving down to the South Coast would be darn side better than living in some of the towns and cities of the north of the UK for a change.

is that the guy the dogs replaced with Latu? Looks like an animal and tough nut the way he doesnt react to things, but its so tricky cause hes not the established alpha were after (and im sure there will be a reason hes being booted).. but the player we want might not exist either.. and how long do we want to wait?

For me that #1 priority is someone to help Jack, Toby and Ryan, we can have a project if we want, maybe replacing Fifita/Mick/Lawrie/Klem etc.. but were atleast 1x $500k+ value first grade prop short for sure.

Edit: I should say that I could put together a video of V.Fifitas first few carries in each match, that would make him look like the next immortal.. but it would be very misleading in terms of his overall value.
There has to be some kind of baggage. The kid can play. Looked good in first grade too. But there has to be some reason the warriors released him, only for Canterbury to release him 4 months later. Something to do with training maybe. I haven’t watched him for the dogs in cup, but last year for the warriors he was a weapon and their fan base was gutted to see him leave

This. 1000 times this. We’re just making up the numbers until we get at least one of these. People are arguing about which reserve grader should play halfback while our marshmallow front rowers are actually the biggest problem with our rosterI agree th

Tough as nails forward: l watched a lil bit of Jett Liu - mainly taking hit ups... he didn't look out of place... then l saw him named in U19 - his stocks really went up. Still a couple of seasons away from first and l confess l didn't watch his defence.
Flashy fullback: why l can live with Captain Gutho for another year or two - more important fixes required.
Halves: Atkinson coming - of the current bunch despite everyone talking him up l don't think Glover is ready (size), Illias and Flan are same/same but only one has the same name as the coach (which is fair enough). Locky isn't knocking the door down - his passing is just acceptable, defends well but kicks ordinary - his main attribute is his manager advertises on NRL360 when needed).
