re: Mason: I'd like to get the footage and put it up here

I remember thinking "I should be laughing here" but my mouth was just wide open with shock

Maybe Finch put his hands between Roberts legs and demonstrated the lifting motion he used.

If I had any photo shop skills there would be a pic of Finch and Roberts appearing on the internet...

I'm glad he got off , because the next team that plays the roosters will have a bit more motivation to take his head completely off.

I have a feeling he will be sledged to death next match.

Remember when he cried after he did that drop out for the Raiders and it went out on the full , in doing so handing the game to the Knights on full time with a penalty in front?
ah god times , good times.

Who could forget that? One of the worst mistakes ever seen on a football field.

No surprises here. IMO the League has always played favourites and reeks of corruption.
E.G. 1978 - our Captain, Greg Pierce, who had an unblemished record was sent off for decking the late big Dallas Donnelly, who was a substantial perpetrator of offences. Greg was given a four week penalty which ensured he would have no chance of playing in the GF. Dane Sorenson had been sent off in a late round game and missed the GF too.
Consequently, with Hartley reffing, Manly beat Parra with a try on the 7th. tackle. Then drew with Cronulla through an apparently blatant referring non-decision. Thus Hartley was able to please the League supremo of the time, Ken Arthurson.

Furthermore, my wife suspects that some referees, by their performances, are told which team has to win particular games and act accordingly. I would like NOT to believe this, but it's damned hard when we're tolerating some of the excuses for a referee that are being fed to the public these days.

I guess the only other thing I can say is - look where the money is?
