For us to win the comp their is one key thing Smithy and Finchy need to work on in the off season. - DEFENCE

It's a very easy equasion if they learn not to miss tackles we win the comp.

We as a team a very strong defencively except in our halves. Hopefully that can improve this year!!

Not too many other clubs that are remarkably stong in the halves defensively. Outside of maybe Newcastle there weren't too many clubs last year that didn't have their halves targetted for one reason or another in defense.

It is important that the club work on them not being isolated in defence....

tim while isnt the best defender, he does put his boy on the line. He doesnt rap the ball up, but he does take the legs of his opposition, and if there is a defender over the top it shouldn't be a problem. Our halves are far from the worst defender in the comp... hello Lockyer, Barret (big 4 nothing he is) sherwin, crock, hill, none of these noted defenders and look where it got there team
