Fired up doggies

Obviously there are some youngens in the doggies team that I am sure will go out there this weekend and play to impress....

and I am sure that the Tigers will feel that this is a great time to strike at the doggies while they have players out....

but with the news today of several doggies players being finned up to a 1/4 of their yearly $$$, one might think that this will fire up who ever is involved to play well or to play shit because they are pissed off.

*edit* - no speculation on players please!!!!

Anyway....just a thought

Like Souths are our bogey team we seem to have a similar effect when we play the dogs at their homeground.I give us a great chance of winning but alot depends on how Fitzy handles #7.Marshall will be a marked man and if they shut him down they will feel they should gain the upper hand.

he has the hands to spread the ball quickly
so if they do target him there wil be space out wide altho they have some of the best centres in the game
should be good to see how we can back up
its been tough this year everytime we win we play a top side the next week
hope no injuries for a few weeks even if we do lose

with the poor performances we have been putting in against sides lower placed then us (manly, sharks, newcastle)

folkes has realized the importance to fire up the boys no matter what team we are playing or whos out for us or whos out for them.

Have a look last week when we played illawarra.

I think our bench is mildly weakend but it holds up with Rainey and Maitua there. Great players

and our forwards are still relatively strong. This is where i think the game will be won (forwards).

I have to disagree with the prediction of Canterbury, i can't see on paper
where your team will win it in the forwards, if your pack holds even, then in the backs is where your team will win it.

From 1-7 is where your mob looks stronger, losing a specialist half in Prince to origin duty will hurt, especially in terms of field position with the general kicking to prove crucial.

The doggies have the edge with 2 playmakers and and in effect 2 options in the kicking dept.

Final prediction, no more than a 10 point verdict either way.

I just had $50 on the Tigers and the guy give 6.5 start, I don't think I will need the start.

If someone docked my pay I know I wouldn't be giving a 100% the next week so it will be interesting.

Its time for the Tigers to go back to back.
