According to PI he is training with the team currently. He will play both trials and we'll see how he goes. If successful he'll get a one year contract.

i think waiting to see how he goes in the trials is a smart option too.

The guy needs confidence...heres hoping Elliot helps him.

He has a good kicking game, if he just brings that to the table i'd be happy...but we kind of need a running five-eight not just a passing one. Thats my concern.

Obviously will play 5/8, just let him play his natural game, IMO he has been forced to play other type roles when he has been at Roosters (Fittler) and Cowboys.

I feel really sorry for him. Was the next big thing before he broke his leg.

I hope he finds his feet wherever he goes

It's an interesting move.

Hopefully he does all right in the trials, and we can offer him something. If anything, would be good for depth.

Given that he is younger then trindall and other issues that have been discussed previously if he proves himself in the trials I'll be happy to see firman as a panther.

No No No No No

A useless hack in the Chris Walker mold. If he sees first grade I will cry.

Jarrod Sammut - 0 first grade games
Craig Trindall - 3 first grade games
Peter Wallace - 1 first grade game
Dean Caldwell - 0 first grade games

I think Elliot will give these young guys a go...but Firman is a safety net should they not be ready.

Firman is a safety net full of holes.

This is the reason he is playing in the trials before he signs...I doubt Elliott would sign him if he was no good...

i dont want to say it im not sure if its safe say it ahh bugger it im gonna say it.

I TOLD YOU SO.

I said it on here i said on pi i said it on msn i said on the freakin toilet seat for god sake firman has arrived lol.

It's great news now that i have proven my statement by him showing up il repeat the rest of what i said.

Firman will be signed he will start in first grade if we get off to a good start firman will be rested and a young bloke will be tried out if we get off to a shaky start firman will spend most of this season in first grade.

He is a great bloke a great footballer and all those who are going to whinge now then say aww i said at the start he was good for us well just zip it before use get started lol.

Great to see him here now we truly have a squad made for premiership success.
