Would love to been in the room when Manly came up with Foz being the guy.

0% wins at any level coaching, check
Track record of mental health concerns when under pressure, check
High chance of being soft on the players as he played with most of them, check

What could possibly go wrong?

Hope he does ok though, always liked Foz, really wanted a Manly spoon this year, now not so much.

I don’t think he’ll have soft approach.

He left nothing on the field as a player, I suspect he’ll be flogging these soft merkins after Seibold turned them into puff pastry.

It definitely has a “Benji at the Tigers” vibe…

AOB odds on to be next sacked. I know he's not a head coach, but who in their right f**king mind would look at the guy who coached the Knights to a historically bad offense and thought "yeah I've gotta get me some of that"

Oh wait, it was that trump loving, RWNJ Gould. Definitely not of sound mind

Last time Seibold was sacked mid-season (mid is obviously a stretch here) a Maroon team he was coaching "won" their first spoon could history repeat?

Additional this guy is absolutely loaded just from getting sacked so congratulations I guess.

I was a bit surprised with Foran taking over, are they thinking he could be the head coach after this season, rather than go with Dymock or Kimmorley as an interim and look at someone else for next year.

Over the years, has Seibs being paid more to not coach than to coach??
Seems to me like there's a good reason for that, because he's shit. Good on him for bluffing for so long, though. Made some good coin out of it.

Is Foran's transition from player to head coach the shortest of all-time? Surely no player became a head coach the year after they retired, or at least not since the player-coach days way back

The prophecy might still come true. In 2 or 3 years time when the Titans inevitably move on from Hannay, Seibald is the only one who applies.
The coach no one wants, the team no one wants to coach and magic happens! Seibald by some miracle coaches the Titans to their first premiership. Like a Disney sports movie or something.
