i think smithy has done the right thing here.
basically everyone performed poorly last week, even our key players kurt simmo etc. so the players will?should be firing to redeem themselves after last week so expecting a good game from all of them. this is ben rogers' last chance to show something...anything... if not next week bring dureau in let rogers get his sh*t together in local nrl.

He is going to make radical changes - that's the only explanation for him not bothering to do anything but just drop Tuafua into Tolar's spot.
The team won't be decided on till much later in the week.

I think the team will be designed to take advantage of shark problems in the forwards.

I wonder how many of them we'll send off on a stretcher this time......

Yeah that definitely doesn't feel like the team that will run out next Monday...also remember Smith has a habit of getting someone to send last weeks team sheet to the media if the team doesn't arrive back until Mon or Tues.

I know that's probably not the side to run out but I still find it strange that Houston wasn't promoted to starting prop after Smith talking him up as one instead of Taufua coming in from 18th man.

Really, who is he going to drop after one round? It won't be De Gois or Rogers since he signed them and won't be ready to give up on then after one week.

Taufua's strong defence would be one of the reasons he's starting over houston.

That bench is f**king pathetic.

Hilder's contribution is inversely disproportionate to what it should be.
Houston is a walking penalty manufacturing conglomerate that's booming in these tough times.
Rich has some impact, but needs to step up.
Cameron is just plain ordinary.

Whilst you may bag the bench which is your right, I don't see you offering alternatives which you should be providing

I don't think we should judge on the first game.
Lot's of reasons that was not their true form.
This week we get an injury weakened side and probably good weather.
If they go badly this week i'll be worried.

You mentioned in your thread of 15/3 that your bench would be House, Patto, Fas and Cir and you included Vuna as a winger.

You stated that the bench is "pathethic' yet you name 3 of them on your bench as well as a wounded winger. what he F@rk is going on here!!

I actually put "Crippled Vuna" on a wing for Kelso. And I stand by that. Fas can stay on the bench for sure, Patto needs a kick in the pants and Hous can probably have one more chance. But Cameron can f**k right off now that you mention it.

It is only a matter of time before the honeymoon is over for some of these ' fringe ' first graders who we continue to parade around as proper first graders...

And hopefully then, some of the fans on here will start holding the front office accountable for what is basically a team of nuffys built around Kurt Gidley, Jarrod Mullen, and a few wiley veterans like Mad Dog and Simmo.

Success on the field begins and ends with success in the front office.

And the people in charge of that have us currently $3M in debt. So what chances on field success really?
