I think all the coaches will see out the season. There will be talk of Price, Furner & Cartwright probably and they may not be around in 2014, but unless there is unexpected disaster, they should stay on until Round 26.

I doubt it will be Price now, i get the idea that Saints are writing this year off before it begins, going after Bellamy and all. So he is keeping the seat warm, aren't likely to sack him, he is already sacked.

It's a stolen Newcastle tactic. We wrote off 10 years on 'in three years time' plans and caretaking coaches.

The only coach that will possibly get fired is Griffin imo. The Broncos aren't used to failing and I don't think he is the once loved leader he used to be either. Plus they have golden boy waiting in the wings.

I suspect that Gus might be looking for a scapegoat around Round 14...

Of course Penrith's woes wont have anything to do with him...

True. Apart from rep forwards Weyman, Harrison & Creagh..plus future reps in Rein & King

Well they should do very well then with those "rep" forwards and push for a top 4 birth or top 6 at worst then?

Your young hooker showed some talent but the rest are ordinary. Harrison has been awful the past two seasons. Ben Creagh??? Please. The club's struggling if he is the captain.

Steve Price.

No chin. Finished 9th last year. Tries to be a Wayne Bennett clone. Chose a fairy as Captain. His boss is after Bellamy. He didn't even recruit good players.

The Telegraph has already said St. Merge will finish 15th so their season is already over.

He'll be gone by mid-season and Stains will get the spoon!

Can't see that happening, Gus sacking Ivan would admit he f**ked up, so naturally he'll sack players that were signed by the previous administration

It's a bad sign for the coach when media report constantly they are looking for a new coach and the administration confirm it. NFI what plan B is when Belly rejects the Dragons

Price - I've got the 29th April marked as the day he'll get punted. Lets see how close I am.

If he spouts the same shit about execution costing us and there being good signs after a loss (there will be many) once the real stuff starts, he should be locked out of his office and walked out of the joint immediately.

He's clearly not up to the requirements of the gig. Not even the basic ones.

He's got something to work with, squad wise. He's just not capable of understanding that when you're rebuilding its better to open the flood gates and wash all the rubbish out, than it is to continually try and plug the obvious leaks. Its a finger in the dyke scenario (fire away on that one).

He has to play the kids he's got. Its his squad. He livesand dies on what he does in the first few weeks IMO.

If I were running the club and the reality of it was as it appears plainly obvious from the outside, then I'd sack him now.

If Doust isn't coxing D Anderson or Rick Stone to the club, then he should piss off as well.
