First trip to cronulla

The Cronulla Motor Inn :

My mate did a Monday arvo on the turps .He fell in the front door about 10pm to his missus , new born and a severe ear bashing . He then threw a lamp , slurred some colorful language , got in the car ( naughty naughty ) and started driving.

Somewhere between home and the beach he's pulled into this motel .

The next morning at around 6.am he woke up wondering where the hell he was and in deep shock and shit. The Hang over had well and truly kicked in by this stage and then he remembered bits and pieces of the night before. He recalled handing his credit card to the guy at the motels front desk , the lamp , the driving , the ear bashing ( which he asked for )the vomiting , the getting chucked out of the pub etc etc.

Anyway from all reports he did say he had a lovely stay and would recommend the motel to anyone.

One other thing , when he arrived home the next morning he was informed by his wife that she'd rung the police and his and her parents .

It is now referred to as his Mad Monday.

What did she tell the police?

And she told his parents?! How old was he, 17?!
Yeah it was great work there. She rang the parents to see if he was at their houses and rang the cops( when he never came home )
to see if he'd had an accident I presume .
We love to hear him tell the story but I don't think he is real proud of himself.
All on a Monday, he knocked off work early ( lunch time ) and got stuck right in.
The irony is he did all the drinking with another mate who is notorious for going on solo mid-week pub crawls.
When he started driving he drove past the local pub 2 mins from home where the other guy had moved onto. He probably could of just popped in for a couple of settlers and gone home .

Yep elmo I've stayed there a few times and guzzled down plenty of coronas in the pokie bar and then stagger into the bistro for a great steak. I didn't go to the game either.
