Fitz Family Finals Failures

I hope I am totally wrong.

Father and son, once in finals coaching are now 0-4.

1988 0-2 straight out.
1989 0-1 won playoff to get in lost to Raiders who went all the way.
2022 0-1 .

We need to beat South's it's not a stat Fitz would want that the family could be 0-5 in finals

You had to mention 1988 Stake didn’t you.

I cried myself to sleep when the Tigers knocked us out.

Still reckon if Barry Russell was healthy we get in the GF and would’ve given the Dogs a great game like we did when we beat them at home that year.

Fugg me and I thought I was a death rider.
Close this down
Look in the press, we are gone. John Morris will lead Souths to victory over the debacle of last year and his mum will be running the water for Souths next.
Taken from the wise;
The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.

The 1989 was the one that hurt me.
2nd last round of season we played Gold Coast, we scored were in front they kicked off Chris Quinn watches the ball bounce into in goal and go dead, he had forgot rule change from 1988.
So now dropout they score, we win that game we finish 3rd no playoff with Broncs to qualify.
Bazza was injured those finals as well I was sitting with Dane Sorensen's mum in law, he was injured as well, they were tempted to play Bazza in game vs Canberra but they didn't know how long he would last.

Chris Quinn cronullafied us that year

Glad someone has the nuts to raise this. Pretty much the reason his dad was sacked.
Last weekend was a perfect example. Choking in the last minute, twice.

Stop, stop, stop. Please no more. ‘88 and ‘99 are still painful, even to this day (Softened somewhat by ‘16)
