Rather lengthy interview

1. Talked about Monday's ticketing problems
2. Talked about his comments re: Brisbane loss of pts
3. Jamie Lyon

All were pretty much just repetes of what has already been said he did say that normally there is a walkup crowd of 47% but on Monday it was more like 65%

and finally he tipped that Fui is a chance of playing tomorrow in 1st Grade

Yeah I heard the interview. The interesting thing about the Lyon situation is that the Wee Waa Panthers director was on the radio earlier today saying that Jamie just wants 1 year off from the Eels to live in Wee Waa and play footy with his mates and will return to the Eels next year. Now how much truth there is in that I honestly don't know.

If it is true I would let him go play for Wee Waa for a year. And about Fui, I so hope he plays.

Yeah ParraMatt it's a tough one and I was actually of the belief that we shouldn't let him play for Wee Waa but now I'm not so sure.

Alot of people suggest that Jamie might not come back to play for the Eels or join another club but I honestly don't think Jamie is that kind of bloke. He's an honest and simple kid from the bush. If he wants a year off it might be worthwile giving it to him and have him back next year fresh and motivated. At least if he's playing for Wee Waa he'll be keeping fit. It's a difficult situation but i'd hate too see us lose him forever.

so if fui is a possibility, then maybe o'dwyer to 5/8 and fui or a benchy (widders) to the scrum.

Yeah could be but it has already been said that Muspratt will come in for Wagon so maybe someone else is in doubt.

or possibility number 2 is that Fitzy is just talking BS.

Don't hold your breath on Fui playing first grade, probably just a gee up by Fitz to Hadley, after Hadley wanting to know how Fui was going in premier league a few weeks back

We really don't know what Jamie's intentions are. It seems as though he wants out of the game for good not just a year off, that's what he appears to have told Parramatta anyway. Whatever his intentions are he should make them clear to the club as soon an possible.

i'd love to see Fui Fui rip it up in 1st grade just for Hadley! lol
And that stuff about jamie on the news was interesting, but it just seems a bit too good to be true...I mean we haven't really heard anything about him wanting to come back to Parra at all, and suddenly someone comes out & says he would come back after a year with Wee Waa.

But by all means if it's true....Let him play for 'em for a year!

I'd like to believe it but really I can't see it happening

If however 1 year in Wee Waa would mean Jamie would come back in 2005 then that would be better then Lyon never coming back.

Greg Pritchard in the sun herald has reported that Jamie and his girlfriend have signed a 6 month lease on a unit in Wee Waa and is more than happy to be pulling beers at the local bowling club. He also reports that Adam Dykes was one of the players that spoke to Jamie and he is convinced that he won't be back.

It's a good article and after reading I'm know slowly swaying towards letting him play for his local side and have let both partys just move on.
