Fitzhenry reception

Was in the members section last night and when Fitzhenry was announced in the side a large portion of the stand gave a massive booo- all tigers "fans" ...was almost as big as the booos for Hayne....

Love him or hate him- you gotta cheer the bloke on or at least hope he has a good game.....

Lowest of the low to Boo your own player- its not like he did a Sonny Bill on us..... Boo sheens if you don't like it...but not a player who has been very loyal to us...

I was thinking about this last night... I simply can't understand booing a player who is having a crack for your team. There's only ever been one guy who hasn't put his body on the line for this club.

Teo's heartless displays deserved booing. As did the efforts of Moltzen and Ryan at Dairy Farmers last year.

Booing a player during team announcements is terrible form usually done by pea hearts who would only do so in a group and never be so critical to a players face with the possible exception of if they had a skinfull

I wonder if he ever reads the forums.
At least he knows the detractors are genuine.
Imagine being patronisingly put up on a pedestal and over rated like a 7 year old whos dads his greatest fan constantly.
He's been turned into a laughing stock by those who purport to support him.

The players do not pick the team so its no fault of theirs if they are picked in the team even if they are way off the required standard. As for Fitzy, showed real ticker against the chooks and will be a handy player when injuries and maybe rep selections kick in. With all players on deck he will struggle to make the bench but you still dont boo him

Bronson, I will agree 1000% with you, he was killed and mismanaged by Sheens and was always going to be a very good player. Bronson is also twice the player Te'o will ever be.

Fitzhenry doesn't deserve to be booed. He might not be Ken Irvine, but he played in a premiership winning team. Club legends like Pearce, Elias, Raundonikis & Dallas Donnelly never played in a premiership winning team.
