And Gower would top the list the moment he announces he will coach a team, even if the are in the Ron Massey Cup

I realise you're trolling, but maybe wait a few years before you throw Robinson up in that company.

After all, Stuart and Hagan won in their first years too.

So you agree with the other four, but just don't buy Robbo as the fifth?

Who would you rank as fifth best? Tim Sheens? He coached Canberra to win in 1989, 1990 and 1994, plus he has coached Australia to victories.

The list should be the 50 best NRL coaches of the past five years.
Newcastle's Greyhound that dropped them off at AAMI Park in the finals would have to be up there.

Buzz ranked Kearney as the 2nd best coach in the NRL as recently as 3 seasons ago.

Tim Sheens has 4 premierships from 5 Grand Finals.

Unfortunately tainted from his last few years at the Tigers.

Too many variables Albert, Gibson without Massey for instance, talent nurtured or procured, ability at rebuilding. Best coach is one that can change up at half time when necessary, would have to be a fly on the wall to cover all contingencies but your list is a guide
