Talked about the win yesterday and how it is important to back up against Parra and put 2 or 3 wins together. They asked if he had had a sneaky look at the ladder this morning to see that we are only 1 win out of the 8. He said he tried not to, but he had noticed it....
Talked about the injury toll and that it's not looking good on that front especially with Gal and Snow missing for Origin, and Hayne not selected..
Kelly still about 5 weeks away.
J. Smith could be 2 weeks.
Gards should be right this week so should J. Morris.
They asked about Toops form and did he think he was in contention for Origin.
Flanno said he is playing well and doing a good job, but it is not the job that he is best suited for... but because of missing personel, he needs to be making the big number of tackles etc which dampens his natural attacking ability.
Spoke about Kelly re-signing and that it was great for the club to lock away a 5/8 long term as we have not had a solid 5/8 since Dykes. What he meant was they have only been stop gap 5/8's on 1 or 2 year contracts.
Spoke about Gal and he would love to rest him and has considered it but Gal would probably try and fight him if he did
