He's performed poorly but I reckon he's potentially a very good 7, given the right coaching.

I think Boyd cops way too much negative press, id be tbh happy with him as our 7 if we had a badass 6, id be nervous though if he and flanno were all we had.. but if we got something else out of the deal.. like a badass prop.. id be alright with it... end of the day Hunt might be on the way out anyway, so someone needs to replace him.

Tanah Boyd is very quick. And he can kick a fair distance. But he has a few mistakes in him. And I can't comment on his defense. As you know, we really need someone who can help to organize the team and direct the forwards as well as kick long and short. Everyone needs to know the plan and be on the same page and the halves make sure that happens. I have my fingers crossed for a half or five eighth like that.
