Braith will be devastated. He thinks he would be perfect for the Dogs. Just like every top player that all of a sudden becomes available. There should be a betting market for this. As soon as a gun player is available, what minute of the show will Braith say he will be perfect for the Dogs.
The other night on NRL360, Hoops said that people new about Daley wanting out from mid last year? I am not sure about you all but I only heard about Daley wanting out this week? So the media knew about this yet kept it quiet for months? Wow.
Molo, Lomax and Hunt were in the papers every week, nearly every day as soon as they got a sniff they were not happy at Saints. Hunt went to town with it in the end and went public especially during origin camps such is the character of this bloke, but Lomax never really said much at all. It was all the press hammering Zac which could of led him to make a decision he has since regretted as stated by 1 journo. I just wish all players/clubs have that level of respect when there is some fall out and not just the media's favourite clubs.
Back to DCE, it is a strange decision and he definitely has signed. It has Roosters all over it but so do alot of these and they miss out. Dogs will throw a hotel his way and he will sign there for 500k or less. They will get a big gun to pursue boxing or wrestle 35 guys to get some salary cap space. If Saints landed DCE it would be at the cost of losing some awesome players like Rava, Lawrie, RFM, Luciano, Sele, Illias, etc that have really made a huge impact to the Dragons and play such a big role in winning games. We can't lose players of that calibre.
