I got the impression that Zachary may had rushed the attempts at goal - due to the time remaining and also that Blues needed to score again and quickly if they were going to win .

Undoubtedly the SOO atmosphere would had caused any kicker immense pressure , however the goals should not had caused a kicker of his ability any real concern - they were well and truly within his capabilities .

Nevertheless the Maroons held on and although our boys fought back tenaciously the Queenslanders deserved their win .

Although I do wonder if the ref had a quid or two on those cane toads to win ? Regardless , hopefully another individual will be chosen to adjudicate the final game .
