OK question from left field!
Dogs signed Bronson Xerri with his history. Should the Dragons have signed him?

No one said we are buying him for the halves. He can cover multiple positions and I'm sure that would be his role. He will be cheap and can play NRL standard in multiple positions. Then we will ALSO buy a halfback. Douehi isn't our Ben Hunt replacement.Yeah I do agree with this, but I thought with all of hunts money + managers supposedly ringing his phone off the hook.. we could have aimed higher..
We cant go into 2025 with just KFlan/Douehi/LKT.. surely there is another 1st grade level half we r buying.. unless we r saving for some massive priced prop.. but the chances of Douehi lasting the season r slim..
I call BS on that. Even the Wests Tigers, on their way to a third straight wooden spoon, waited until June to offer him a one year extension, yet apparently here we are 18 months in advance offering 2 years? No chance in the world. I knew there was a reason that 2GB radio interview set my teeth on edge, and it wasnt all because of Mark Levy. That Doueihi question seemed prompted, like Flanno had planted it.2026
And they won 2 spoons in that time. I'd even prefer Jesse Marschke ffsNo but he played 6 all of 2022 and 2023 and was outstanding too I might add. If you think jack bird is a better option in the halves you’re delusional

Then we had Flanno saying he's had a bit do with Doueihi, and I'm like, when? They've never been at the same club together. But now it makes sense. Doueihi doesn't have a manager. He handles his own contract negotiations. Probably what Flanno likes about him, given his apparent disdain for agents.

Agree to disagree then doesn’t matter what the forum thinks anyway it’s up to flannoI call BS on that. Once someone has done his time for that kind of thing, no problem.OK question from left field!

So are you suggesting that Flanno is signing a top shelf half for 2026 and that Douehi is some kind of stop-gap halves cover for 2025?2026
Ah right, I remember this vague foreshadowing of yours from last off season. Good to see the classics getting a re-runNot talking about Douehi...
Whatever happened to Marschke? Played with a bit of speed, a bit of nous, and a lot of enthusiasm in the games I watched. Thought he was worth giving another year to.I call BS on that. Now the reserves will include Douehi, Sloane, Ravawala, and Laurie. That is a bit more depth. Some people are hard to please. I remember hearing many Dragons fans complaining that we don't have enough 1st grade players in our 2nd grade team to fill in as injury cover for 1st grade when required. Adam Douehi is a capable 1st grader who will likely play more Koe Cup games for us than NRL. And we sign him on a little over minimum wage....sounds like a good deal to me.
getsmaryNot talking about Douehi...
I agree whole heartedly O/T and getsmarty.getsmary
Don’t engage with him as he is a complete knob jockey.
Your posts are always for the best reason and not to cause arguments but he will try to turn it into one.
You’ve seen his type before and you ended up giving it all away for a while and for sure we don’t want that to happen again.
You've forgotten more than he ever knew.
May played very well this year. Flanno has been trying to sign a big name front rower which we desperately need. I’d be surprised if Flanno has not put in a call to May’s manager.I'm with you slip and while May's talent and skill is without question but unsure on his attitude and commitment to his game...
