someone else on here said we werent signing May or Thompson.. not to say we didnt try.. whatever the situation.. hopefully we do have Lodge, and im trying to think of a left-field middle that we 'could' target instead.

Lodge isn’t signed until it’s official. So we are holding off because we want to tie it in with more positive news yet we are openly declaring interest in Addo-Carr makes sense… couldn’t think of a more negative signing at this point in time.

The Dragons may well have had an interest in JAC a little while back, but it appears to have cooled markedly of late, to the point where he is now considered a much lower signing priority.
Personal opinion, I think he will sign elsewhere.
We also have plenty of backline depth.
Agree regarding Lodge.
Dean Ritchie on 2KY this morning said he expects the Gutherson signing to be announced this coming week.

Wrt May, I’m a little out of touch. why Are he roosters getting rid of him? And what has he done in the past?
It is a bit of a mystery. He has no skeletons in his closet but - my understanding from the media - he is on around $450k p.a., for two years at easts and is agitating to get paid more.

Sounds a bit of an unlikely story to me.

Tigers star Adam Doueihi is reportedly being linked to a move to the Dragons after Ben Hunt's release.

That would likely mean Kyle Flanagan shifts to halfback with Doueihi slotting in at five-eighth.

The Daily Telegraph's Michael Carayannis revealed the update on Doueihi's future on SEN radio.

“It’s not a done deal yet,” Carayannis said on Doueihi’s rumoured move to the Dragons.

“With everything that has happened with Hunt, the Dragons will take a moment now just to scour the open market.

“The name’s that have been linked are Lachlan Ilias and Doueihi. Those are the names that are at the top of the list for 2025.

“For 2026 and beyond, Daniel Atkinson from the Cronulla Sharks is at the top of the list for the Dragons.”

and he looked good in his early 1st grade games
game singular. Looked a class act, next week found himself back in Ressies where he remained for whole season. Great call Flanagan as now he is talking about leaving us for Parra. I wanna like and back our coach but he is not making it easy.
