That's all fine but if he's contracted, doesn't want out or the grubs don't want to move him on then there is likely zero chance of it even being possible...

Let's get realistic about who we can sign.
Felise Kaufusi looking for a contract next year, smashing us in to next week tonight, might be worth a one year contract.

https://www.loverugbyleague.com/pos...o-super-league-clubs-in-new-recruitment-twist We better not lose Glover because of Flannos nepotism. Resigning Kyle for so long for absolutely no reason is one of his worst decisions yet, and doesn't look good.
Glover is not a first grader, way better options just about everywhere you look. I'm no fan of Kyle's, but you aren't going to get much more joy with Glover in the side. Reed will be playing cup next year, no need for Glover. Good luck to him.

I once spoke to a recent ex NRL player and he said every team cheats the cap and that some clubs are more creative than other clubs in the way they go about it. The grubs must have the best people when it comes to manipulating the books.

It is time for Glover followed by Reed to earn a first grade 7 jumper. Atkinson and LPT can fight it our for the 6 jumper.

If Flanno can land Haas, and if we can sign Arthur as a defensive coach, we may have the makings of a competitive first-grade side. Of course, we will need to go through the normal turnover of players at the end of this season.

Forget about Haas.
He has said he is happy at the Broncos and a report a week or two back said he is expected to extend with the Broncos prior to 1 November.
My opinion is Glover is not up to NRL standard, and Reed is still at least a year or two away from being ready.

I think it's a matter of keeping and protecting what we have. We lost one to the Bullcheats, and with the expansion of teams, the talent pool will become diluted, unless you're a lucky club with third-party underworld money to buy up the young cream.

I don't think Glover will be here next year. He will become surplus unless there are some bites regarding Ilias.

KOE Cup halves next year will be Reed and either Ilias or Glover.

Reed would have completed his 3rd year of pre-season with 1st grade and is a complete footballer. He will be pressuring for a 1st grade debut. Glover is a good Cup player, but he falls into the same bracket as Darryn Nichols and the like.

Unbelievable we have a no 7 Glover killing it in Nsw cup his stat's are up in the top 5 with tries and assists plus quick and a excellent kicking game . But again coach flanno to scared to give him a run over his son kyle he is showing he preference kyle over the team being successful .
