As much at Douhei will help us. I have been so impressed with Stewart’s last two games. If we miss out on Douhei I think Stewart as that ball playing 13 won’t look out of place. In fact I think Stewart is better defensively .
Positive about Douhei is the multiple positions (including halves)
Stewart can’t kick us out of trouble if our forwards are not making yardage

So we let Tamale and Finau go to Canberra and get Guler from them, we are dead set stupid.
In the absence of a recruitment manager, the club is stupid.

I'd say our biggest loss is Bosstock, closely followed by Garrick.

Maybe the retention of Duffty, Quinlan, and Sloan would be close to our biggest mistake with rentions.

As dragons fans we like to complain about our failed recruitment.
But imagine being a tigers fan: Tedesco, Addo-Carr, Papenhuyzen, Mitchell Moses, etc etc etc …

I suspect looking at Hamish Stewart now at only 20yrs of age and a tall leaner build versus older props/locks …. that he will be a middle rotation

ie start him at 13 but then a ball playing locks comes on after 20mins etc

salmon, Mann, Curran have shown how important that middle ball playing lock is for the dogs success so far this season and last year 14wins

Not sure what to make of this. Yes he left just after Hook got sacked and had no relationship with Flanno .
So coming back starting fresh with Flanno may be ok.
Flanno has always said we need more origin players and Kerr was in the 20 man squad.
I’m torn. He has gone to another level at Dolphins but yeah. Weird one

Agree. I think it shows how desperate Flanno is to improve our front row and I’ve said else where sometimes that desperation has clouded his recruitment decisions. To be honest I’d rather keep Klemmer for another year and save the money for someone better (and more consistent) than Kerr.
On the other hand anything that pushes Lawrie further down the depth list I’m ok with……..
