Fair Enough,I just think that after everything this club has had to endure with injuries to high profile player's.The fan's are willing to back the ability of our junior's. :|
Besides we'd have to mortgage the grand stand to get him! #-o
P.s.....The Grand stand at Campbelltown that is,don't think the bank would take a mortgage on our one at the Southern end of Leichhardt oval. ;-) ;-)

Sure injuries happen all the time but buying an injury prone player who is heading into his last contract within the NRL over juniors who are some of the best coming through the ranks - well I know who I would prefer ;-)

I think its funny that people are talking about kennedy being a gamble when last year we infact signed the following players

Prince - History of Brocken legs

Reynolds - as above

Richards - as above + more

Hodgson - was in all sorts of trouble at the end of last season with Hammy problems and he was thought to need major surgery

Payten - toe surgery and was thought when we first held talks with him that he would be lucky to play at least half the season

I think the only buy's we picked up that didn't have any injury worries over them where Moodie and Sattler

Kennedy is a great player when fit and I wouldn't have had any problem with him coming to the club however I don't think we needed him and I also think that it could mean that either Bronson or Liam (if not both) would leave to go to another club.

And all of these players have time on their side, they were long term risks, kennedy is in his final 2 seasons of football, to big a risk, and his asking price would of been very substansial

Kennedy is a good player, but I wouldn't want him over any of the 8 or 9 young champions we have. The days of the expensive veteran at the Tigers are over. I can assure you Graham/Sattler/O'Neill/ Senter/Mears aren't on big money in comparison to what Kennedy is on. I don't think the issue of Ben Kennedy going to Manly should even be here, It has absolutely no relevance to our rising club. If they want to waste their money on him fine. I don't care what they do.

Looks like im outnumbered.....I wouldve been very surprised if the opposite was the case.
I'm all for, as I heard someone on the radio tonite say..."Rather tomorrows man than yesterdays man"....I just reckon hes that classy a player when fit and well it'd be a gamble worth taking.....its a gamble yeah but so's every new buy, just look at Nick Graham......

I can recall the Tigers chasing Nik Koseff when he was in the same mould as bk .

BK is a great player , but for mine he is too much an injury risk.

He is doing a Terry Hill big time .

As for Blocker , was it the money he never got paid being the reason he has not brought a player to the Wests Tigers ?
