Is he an accredited trainer? Nope.
Should he be on the field? Nope.

If he wants to support Rugby League, let him buy a ticket and watch from the stands like the rest of us.

If Folau was so concerned about Tongan Rugby League, he wouldn't be abandoning them for $3 million in a competing sport - Rugby League owes him nothing now.

Every time his name is mentioned by a Rugby League person, even this article or during a radio call/tv coverage, it's a free advertising hit for the AFL. Why allow it 20 times in a game next week? I mean - we banned Super League defectors from playing State of Origin in the nineties - yet they let Union/AFL defectors play.

I can't wait till October 31st when his contract expires and he has no more involvement in the game whatsoever and we can just tune out the paid-for AFL propaganda instead.

Why does he want to be involved? Surely the AFL wouldn't want their prized marketing b*tch involved in anything rugby league untill he comes back in 3 years.

You have to be qualified to run the water these days? Surely being an ex-Test footballer is good enough. No doubt all the other international teams have fully qualified water boys.

He's obviously going to fill the bottles with poison, and then he won't know how to run as he's not qualified to be a water runner.

I don't understand why it's petty.

He made a choice to leave Rugby League.

Pretty sure you do. There's a system in place with different coloured shirts and what not, probably to ensure the buggers aren't on the field for 80 minutes running the attack.

Exactly.
What would the AFL want?
Folau nowhere near RL internationals in Sydneys west.

So what does the ARL do?
Just what the AFL would hope they'd do.

I really don't see how running water out for Tonga is benefiting Folau in any way.

If anything, it's probably good for the Tongan side to have Folau involved.
