The Broncos are undefeated at 6-0 and have the bye before playing Green Bay at home in week 8. Huge game for both sides for bragging rights but more importantly, it will tell us where the Broncos sit as far as being contenders.
The AFC looks considerably stronger than the NFC this year IMO with only the Packers looking like the real deal whereas the Patriots and Bengals both look very strong.
The Broncos have obvious struggles on O and the bye week may be a chance to get it right for a very tough stretch where I think the Broncos will go 5-5 the rest of the way.
Having said that, the Broncos were 6-0 in 2009 under McDaniels and finished the season at 8-8 and missed the playoffs. Could that happen again this year? The Patriots look the obvious favourite with the Bengals and Steelers looking ominous as well. Even the Jets look promising.
Time will tell I guess.
