That WMD theory has now been entirely discredited. Even the intelligence agencies who provided the information now admit that they got it wrong. S&*^t happens I suppose.

Thus popular views ( bearing in mind that K is unable to actually prove what he has asserted here) are not neccessarily the correct or right ones to hold.

In league terms, the Penrith club thought Stapleton should be one of the lowest paid players in their squad didnt they? Didnt he make the Kangaroo's?!

My own view is that SGI is in a marked decline phase. Thats a view shared by some others who are not SGI people and have no vested interest in its affairs.

I think Preach is right to voice his concerns.... whether those views are popular or not.

wiilow i took exception at being called a girl, because i dont even know who this guy is, i made a joke on something the preacher said, which i have done many times, and will continue to do so, maybe one of my failings is i probably tell too many bad jokes, but i don't think i have ever criticise anybody for saying what they believe in,its very easy to be a coward and hide behind a keyboard.the one thing i like about these forums is that we are concerned about one thing, and thats to see some glory for the red and whites.

how are you dave been a bit quite lately, this off season seems to be along time before we get going again,71 days to go for us, but it don't matter if you follow saints, souths, tigers who ever, everyone has an opinion, weather you agree is up to you, and the last time i looked we were living in a democratic society, so you can vote for who you like, if if i want to have a go at peter doust, i think that is my right also, as long as i keep it to subject manner and not over overkill, because i want what is best for st george. anyway dave have good christmas and new year and get ready for the charity shield, you never know we might meet up one day.

as i said i can say what i like, within the realms of the forum of course and i will take the good with the bad. I dont mind people who ask the tough questions but do you really expect to get and anser you are happy with. I think the last 3 AGM's i have been to have shown me that! we go around in circles all the time and achieve nothing. All i want is a successfull year and hope 2008 will be just that.

I have enjoyed my time on Saints LU this year. As a collective, you have a quality forum with a nice balance of football, humour and life-experience.

Its been a busy time at Souths and Parra LU as we have been at war.

Ive had to be home to help defend the forum. It is finishing up now.

Like many wars, there has been no clear victor.

If you havent visited Souths LU recently, you should come and visit and you will find that most of us are friends.

I hope we can meet up too, maybe at the sheild. Prepare for an absolute flogging.

But I dont like to hear people say unkind things about Preach.

Eevn a schmuck like me knows that he loves his club with all of his heart and he's got something to say about its apparent decline.

Same here. I've never made a personal attack on any board member or any player.

There may have been a few that slipped through the net from other members (I don't read every post) but it would have to be very much in the minority. To the club's credit, they have never once complained about any posts in the LU Dragons forum.

By 'personal attack', I mean real privacy issues of the negative kind. That is, bringing family into it, bringing one's place of residence into it, making up lies or spreading rumours about another member, and generally bringing personal details about another member into the debate. Those sort of things are frowned upon.

IMO, silly name calling really isn't an issue... such things don't stick in the long run. But some people take exception.

Plus the cut-and-thrust of debate - aka 'frank exchange of views' can sometimes be misconstrued as people getting personal. Sometimes, its just a case of both members giving as good as they receive. As long as they don't try to hijack good threads, then I can't see a problem with what should be viewed as a healthy argument.
