It’s not good footy IQ to negotiate contracts that put all of the power in the players and their agents hands.

We seem to be accused of being soft when comes to handing out options, and at the same time, too hard when it comes to paying decent cash to attract good players.

Anecdotally, it seems that we are just bad at it.
