Footy Show wins ratings...

Just heard on 2UE re John Stanley's show that the Footy Show won the ratings last night. Can you think of a bigger turnaround other than Penrith winning the 2003 GF..?? The other thread relating to the Footy Show probably confirms this considering the unusually high number of positive reviews.

Yea even I have become a regular viewer again.

No doubt the ratings spike is the result of more footy, but the ironic thing is the deathriding from News Ltd media would have been a key contributor to the ratings turn around.

The same thing was said last week, yet The Amazing Race (336,000) beat The Footy Show (324,000).

They finally found a use for Wilson: best smokescreen ever.

I believe they beat up the potential for a slanging match between her and the boys just to get viewers to tune into the new format. It is the new format that was always the thing that was going to win back regular viewers. Dare I say it? Well done Ch.9.

I seriously don't understand how people watch the Footy show. The very sight of Fatty makes me want to punch my TV! Hearing him open his mouth drives me into an uncontrolable rage!

It was great last night. Having Raudonikis on was a fantastic idea. I wonder if he'll be a regular? I remember they tried something similar a few years ago with Rex Mossop 'the Moose' or something. Didn't last too long.

Fox's shows are good, but there is only so much of laurie daley saying "they done well there" that i can take. His sickening bias to the dragons is poor.
Brandy Alexander doesnt even show the bias to his club the panthers.
Footy show has improved 10 fold the past 2 weeks.

Yeah I think "the Moose on the loose" segment only lasted a few episodes.

Laurie's not too bad with the Dragons... not as bad as Fatty with the sea eagles or Maroons. Either way Fatty just spends the entire show carrying on like a wanker! The Fox Footy shows at least have decent discussions about the game!

Take Fatty and Sterlo off and I'd consider watching it.

She was the bait.....and the new footy show with almost 100% footy is the hook.
