what about the sharks-roosters pick the score amount - $4,342.00

If you did a pick the winners ticket you are out as souths had 6.5 start and lost by 6.
If you did a multi ticket then you are still going.

So does that mean you needed Souths to pick the winners?

On pick the winners, then Souths won with a virtual score of 26.5 to 26.

I take it that you dont have experience with pick the winners.
Every weds the TAB put out their handicaps.
Example....if Newcastle are playing the Panthers at Newcastle and Panthers are given 4.5 start and lose 24-20 then they win on the pick the winners 24.5 to 24.

Pick the winners depends solely on the pool size and how many people picked it, right?
Whereas a seven-leg multi with handicaps would be $1.85^7.

Yeah.
If the pool in 10000 and there are 100 winners then it is $100 to each person.
If you do a multi with the 7 games involving all the handicaps and they all 1.85 then it will be 74.17 for every dollar.

I know how the handicap and stuff works, I just deidn't relise it applied to pick the winners.
