to hell with that! he is in the extremely privaleged postion of having the actual game at his disposal! he can play it whenever the hell he wants! he has never had to wait for this game! he has had a new version all the time and now he has the final version! while we wait and wait and wait and wait in AGONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and then we wait some more. :lol: he is just one of us but is lucky enought o have been the moderator oif the computer game section on rleague. he is nothign special so dont treat him like a god.
however i respect that he has a job a famly and a life and has no responsibility to any of us but i think a screen or two every now and then is nothing to ask. he has no idea how we feel because he has never had to wait for this game. hell probably say "bla bla i waited 7 years liek all of you" but no vodka that isnt included! :lol: you have been getting constant new version of this game while weve been stuck with the demo! :lol: that bloody demo! so vodka i ask of you to put yourself in our shitty postion and then try to think how youd feel if you had to pray for SCREENSHOTS! just to put yourself at ease.

Being a QA Officer is very hard work. But a lot of fun, when it's a game. It's not all fun & games though. Lots of work needs to be done as well. To become a QA officer you generally need a degree of some kind where you studied Quality Assurance.

Don't know about Sidhe, but most companies pay for the QA work. Quite handsomly. Don't know what they pay now, but several years ago EA in Australia paid $31,000 a year to their QA people. I know other companies pay around the same now.

QA Person = Quality Assurance.

The official name of a Beta Tester. They are generally full time staff of the development company, not just added for one game. Most companies do pay, and rightfully so, as it is very had work and takes many hours (up to 10) out of your day every day. No companies (AKAIK) will ever employ a beta tester for a game(or program) that is not qualified in QA.
