Fumble, fumble, stupid kick, awkward catch, bit of a sprint, fumble, fumble, kick.

That looked awful. Hahaha.

That was a ridiculous play. I don't want him anywhere near the joint if he is going to do stupid sh*t like that.

I disagree.
I see it that a player that has such vision (look at the score and how far back all the defenders were) is the type of freakish talent that either rugby code could prosper from.
He'd only have to pull a play like that once that didn't work and it would be coached out of his reportoir.
In saying that, I'd love to have a player that has vision like his controlling our halves at the moment. No doubt, he is the aforementioned speedhump, but he wouldn't be the first leaguey who couldn't tackle.

I rate him as a brilliant talent. I'd love to have him on board.

Attempting something like that in league and he'd get absolutely blasted and deservedly so. I don't watch Union, but if his defence is as bad as others day it is well then keep in mind you need to attack AND defend to win football matches.

If it was league, that play wouldn't have been on anyway.

A league defence would have been up in a line and the only kick option would be behind them.

Because half of them dropped back for the kick, Cooper aimed this kick in front of the defence. Absolutely mental.

I remember once Tim Smith kicked at a gap (though we were on the opposition's tryline, not our own) for Ash Graham to score. By that I mean Graham caught the ball as he hit the defensive line, rather than after he had already run through it.

Did I see the right video? I saw Quade attempt to hit a teammate on the chest with a kick from 30 odd metres. Failed miserably too I might add. I see hundreds of guys perfect that play every weekend. They play AFL. Maybe we are better off getting an AFL player. I'm sure they would have made the fumbles look more graceful at a minimum.

I recall that our forwards were struggling to get out of our territory and Tim Smith kicked a very similar kick and it hit our winger who sprinted downfield.
