Best half back pairing in the world. To see them together at club level would be amazing.

If It doesn't happen it won't be because the Warriors didn't make an offer. A lot of teams will be making offers though.

From what I hear, Foran to union should be the real worry.
Then you need to get your hearing checked...

Foran would be a terrible RU player.... He's too slow to be an outside back and doesn't have the requisite skills to be a first-five.

He wouldn't be in NZ rugby's radar anyway...

This... make no mistake the All Blacks can afford to buy Foran if they wanted to, they aren't broke like the wallabies, they simply don't need to.

I'm not saying NZ rugby will be after Foran. Foran wants to play for the All Blacks.

That said, I had the exact same thoughts as you when I was told this. I felt he'd be taking one hell of a pay cut. I don't know whether he realises this and is willing to do so, or is delusional and is expecting a pay day.

Fact remains he wants to play for the All Blacks.

We've seen with Jarryd Hayne that players with aspirations aren't always held back by reality.

Foran is playing for everyone in 2016!

Great combo they are for NZ. So are Cronk and Thurston, So were Lockyer and Thurston.

Doesn't mean they will be for club.

But I will concede the Warriors is the most likely if Foran decides to leave the Eagles.

As a Warriors fan I'd rather see Johnson behind a dominant forward pack. Though I'm certainly happy to take both

The thing with Foran is he will more than likely be a multi-millionaire from his fathers inheritance alone...

So I don't think money will be a driving factor for him come contract time...

Manly are in the box seat... And so they should be...

I think both Foran & DCE would be silly to leave their partnership/Manly.

Manly rebuild their forward pack, & they are back to being a premiership force.

I would much rather see Foran remain at the Eagles Long with DCE. Eagles developed them ect.... an the game needs more one club players

Was going to say the same thing but thought it would come across as Manly bias (which of course there is :D).

But I agree, club loyalty to any team is to be respected.

Beaver stayed loyal despite big money offers elsewhere and is a club legend because of it. Likewise Lockyer, Hindmarsh, Minichello, Johns, Sterling etc.

You associate the player with the club they played for.

In this day and age of cut throat business, its the tribalism of league that is sadly passing but deeply respected.

A Foran/Johnson combo isn't going to magically make the Warriors consistent enough to make the finals.

Better off at Manly.
