Widdop and Foran will be the two greatest pivots in the game over the next 8-10 years.

Okay I tried not to, I really did but :lol::lol::lol:

^^^^Ignore this abortion. k. thanx

Now we can be friends Didg

X Factor, it is probably in your best interest to put BHP on your ignore list asap. Otherwise, you will regret it.

The novelty wears off mate, trust me.

Now you're learning.

He finds him attractive. That and BHP has a brain lesion.

Thanks for not crapping all over this thread .........good job. ;-)

Im curious as to where the LU public rate Foran as a player in terms of 5/8th in this league?

I think the guy has unlimited potential. For 2011, he HAS to be the 5/8 of the year

....so far.

I had earlier doubts about his size and durability, but he's showing that he's tough as nails and is powerful beyond his stature. Has all the skills .......vision

and the main ingredient that all great players have

time with the ball in his hands.

Given the same media push that Marshall has had the benefit of over the last couple of years and he will be the games next superstar.

In saying that though, just look at the accolades Todd Carney was getting last year. RL seasons can be worlds away sometimes.

Kieran Foran is currently in the top three five-eighths in the NRL. The other two are Jamie Soward and Gareth Widdop. Josh McCrone is probably the fourth best five-eighth in the NRL on form but he is probably not on the same level potentially as the others. Overall it's too difficult to compare Foran to the big names like Lockyer, Marshall, Carney etc. but I'll go out on a limb and say that when all is washed-up he'll go down as one of, if not the greatest NZ rep player of all time. Equal to or better than Marshall potentially. It's just in the effort Foran brings compared to Marshall. Marshall still has years to go though too. At this stage I'd prefer Foran at WT to Benji though.

Agreed, however, there is one huge distinction between Carney and Foran; Foran is not an alcoholic that has been kicked out of pubs, rugby league clubs and regional NSW towns. Foran is one of the best readers of the game I have seen, he has the ability to single handedly change the momentum of a game, yesterday was a good example of this. He doe not only change his own game in a single play but he can almost instantly change the attitudes of his own players, giving them a lift while at the same time shaking the confidence of his opposition. He has been judged harshly for his game against Illawarra a few weeks ago but he did play through an injury sistained early in the first half and had David Williams and Joe G not both also been injured then he would have likely spent time on the sideline.

Will they be coming up against Pearce playing halfback and Hayne in the second row?

That is so far off it's not funny. When has Nightingale ever been mooted as a potential 6? Foran is the standout 6 in the game at the moment and will only improve why would he wear the 9? If Quade Cooper ever comes to rugby league it's a fairly safe bet he'd allign himself to QLD and Australia, and even then he there is zero chance of him ever playing in the backrow. GIVE YOURSELF AN UPPERCUT!

I knew this was a gee up when I saw Sam Perrett over Hoffman or Fishiati.

Locke is our first choice fullback now, he has been electric since moving there about 10 rounds ago.. Fish is well and truly 2nd now.
