Learn something new everyday, seems like most players played hereI didn’t realise Talakai played for Penrith in NSW Cup in 2019.

Poor bloke...Billy Tsikrikas former NSW Cup player with us makes his NRL debut for the Bulldogs tonight.
What a bizzare take on his skill setOther than his high bombs this year burton has been very average at best... i know he just put the icing on the cake than for JAC but any half couldve done that. Was on a platter.
Always thought hes best spot is lock or 2md row in the future. Given the way he played last year at centre i think its hard to argue atm hes just at his best when he is running the ball..
I know the dogs arent panthers but theres enough talent there... hes just not delivering atm..
Most weeks they get in good positions but last tackle options and passing choices are poor by him.
Hes best assest is his running game. He loses that when he plays half as it seems his first focus is to play make...
Hoping he can prove me wrong. I know hes not gunna play anywhere else for the dogs but i think bennett could turn him into the best lock in the game. Even better than yeo. He has the passing and kicking skills plus the speed and running game to be so good playing that yeo role..
Certainly not as strong defensivley but i think that kind of role suits his skills more.
Mate you bagged luai hard for half a season..What a bizzare take on his skill set
Yeah nahMate you bagged luai hard for half a season..
Burtons been average. Its just a fact.
Hes bombs have been great...
The rest is as i said.. extremley poor last tackle options, whether it be kicks or passes or getting tackled.
No real creativity.. poor options and no direction.
Hes a good player... im not doubting his skills..
Ive just always believed hes at his best when hes sole focus is on running the ball.. always have thought hes best spot would be lock or 2nd row.. but last year he carved up at centre.. way more dominant at centre than he was in the halfs albeit without nath and a few others..
Glad luai is our 6 thats for sure. This wasnt meant to be a luai vs burton post but luai has been brilliant this year and burton hasnt.. two different teams i know but luai just compliments nath so well.
Id take burts back in a heart beat but hes future isnt in the 6. The way the modern game is he could be way way way more influential in the 13..
Proofs in the pudding mate.Yeah nah
I'd listen to an argument he's a centre at this stage but hes not a forward. Simply ridiculousProofs in the pudding mate.
Hes 1.9m tall... 96kgs and a shitload of filling out to do..I'd listen to an argument he's a centre at this stage but hes not a forward. Simply ridiculous
What the f**k does Jerome Luai have to do with this?Hes 1.9m tall... 96kgs and a shitload of filling out to do..
The reality is he will have to stay off the weights to stay below 100 easy...
If he hits the weights he will be 102 easy... if a club wants him to he could hit 104 105kgs...no dramas. Yeo is 106 and is almost 8 years in the nrl..
The modern game 13 role is perfect for burto.
You loving him so much and hating on luai might blind your judgement but its clear with the start to the year the dogs have had..
Hes a great player but hes skills arent being used properly.
Dont be hasty your boy burto has been shithouse..What the f**k does Jerome Luai have to do with this?
At the time I could never understand why we got rid of Talakai. Was a standout in Cup in a position he’d only learnt, was capable at NRL level with South’s and we weren’t exactly stacked with explosive type backrowers/players.
It helps when your main competition is Jaxson Paulo who is somehow even worseMansour is laughably bad now, it's amazing Souths don't have anyone better
