In his prime he was a very good finisher to be fair.
He scored the most tries for west Tigers so yea you’d have to think somethings missing from every narrative about Noffa on here? (Nowhere else, just on here)..and yes some insane tries..

The problem was he was paid big time when he didn't deserve it. It was just a dud contract for us and we needed him gone. The whole narrative changed after that.

Fair enough but you’d think he’d bedded someone’s missus. Everyone’s a bum just before they leave. esp the over paid players. ... But not everyone holds the try scoring record for an NRL club. And none do so without having something +ve that deserves a mention.

Noffa gets a worse wrap than the worst bums at the club who were an embarrasment for their whole duration. That’s not fair or cool I think, to shit on your own. Esp our once were stars. It seems to be the norm here tho, to in fact celebrate their downfall. Benji got the same..Few players are perfect . esp the top tiers

Some of Nofos tries were easily the most enjoyable I’ve ever seen. .... I’ll enjoy the good memories of Nofa. And there were plenty.

I'm calling BS on this. Just because there were worse players than him doesn't make him any good.

He may be our highest tryscorer on 100, but that was over 11 years and 192 games. So he was averaging slightly over 1 try every second game. Or 0.52 tries a game.

He never took any hard carries. Always ran sideways, and while he busted a lot tackles it made no difference as he made no metres, allowed the opposition line to get set, and was a main contributor as to why we were always stuck in our own half.

As soon as we started trying to set decent standards he cried like a bitch and tried to destabilise the place to the point he was sacked.

He would have been a reserve grader at any other club. And to think we paid him well above his worth while letting go of Koribete and Ado-Carr.

For someone of your intelligence and observation skills Im struggling with this part... You run a hard hate. I’d not like to be on the end of it..

It's just my opinion on his abilities. The last time I looked you were still allowed one.

I'm fairly certain that when Taruva dn Skelton were giving us good go forward out of our own end, before Skelton got injured, most supporters were saying what a refreshing change it was.

Mmmmmm I think if you were look at every game with an open mind you would see him making some tough carries from deep into his corner. He was an outstanding finisher. BUT way too inconsistent.

His worst attributes as you righly stated was running laterally and leaving his wing in D.
One could say that it was due to playing with an ever changing backline and that he played under several coaches, but he had the same problem with every team he played in and with every coach.
Remember when Corey Thompson pushed him back to reserve he was gutted and was in shock, hard pill to swallow for a Dally M winger of the year.
I loved watching Noffa play when he was good and hated watching him when he'd let a try in :)
